Tinicum Health Ministry
Christ Church and Pt Pleasant Baptist Church are partners in the Tinicum Health Ministry, a faith community nurse (formerly called a parish nurse) for our local communities.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions the Tinicum Health Ministry Parish Nurse is not able to make in person visits to the church campuses or homes.
She can provide information on available resources and services, and facilitate referrals to agencies for assistance and support. While Faith Community Nurses don't provide hands-on nursing procedures they are a valuable spiritual resource for wellness, healing and recovery. Please call the church office at 216. 766. 8730, and leave a message if necessary.
All communications between a Parish Nurse and parishioner are confidential, consistent with the professional Practice for Parish Nurses.
Food for All
COVID-19 can't stop 'God's Work, Our Hands'! We provided 'Blessings by the Box' food care packages in the beginning of the summer to families from Tinicum Elementary.
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused severe financial stress, and the need for food assistance is crucial. We welcome your gifts of nonperishable food items and Giant Gift Cards to support The Lord's Pantry and provide uninterrupted assistance to our community.
Please use the Secure Giving link to make a donation towards Giant gift cards for the Lord's Pantry. Non perishable food donations can be left in the auxiliary shed by the parking lot.
