Rise up and come to our help, merciful God, for we are in need. Our spirits are weighed down with fear; our bodies feel as fragile as the dust from which we came. All that we have trusted seems hidden from sight. Although this moment has come upon our nation, you have not forgotten us. We do not trust in our own power or strength, but in your steadfast love in every generation. Show us your face in this time of trial, remind us of your faithfulness, and save us for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

The calling of the disciples by the Sea of Galilee

Thank you for visiting our virtual church home. This week  we are worshipping remotely, having suspended in-house worship because of the high COVID-19 cases in our area.

While both our national Presiding and local Southeast Pa Synod Bishops and the civil authorities have made recommendation we have not made this decision lightly or out of fear.

We have made this decision from love and an abundance of caution.

We are called to act in love, bearing one another’s burdens, and have compassion for one another’s needs. Cases in Bucks County and the surrounding areas have risen dangerously. Any gathering increases the risk of transmission.

We realize that there are differences of opinion and strong feelings even among faithful followers of Christ.  We are also aware that we have different comfort levels for contact with others during this pandemic.  In the midst of these realities, we want to encourage all to be patient and kind to one another (1 Corinthians 13:4).  Our Lord calls us to love one another - that is how we will show the world the truth of God’s love (John 13:35).

As Christians we are called and strengthened to have a faith-full and practical response.  While we’ve never faced a crisis like this, we have come through challenging times before, caring for one another, our community and for the world. We are people of hope.

Your faithful giving allows us to continue to care for our congregation and our community. You can give securely online through our website from the secure giving page.

We Lutherans can be shy about money – this isn’t a time for timidity but bold service and generous hearts.

We are limiting our in-house activities, but the church is open for ministry! Worship, prayer, care, service, learning and fellowship all go on in person, virtually and on social media. Please choose a link below for more information.

Finding Christ

We are located in Tinicum Township, Bucks County at 353 E Dark Hollow Rd, Pipersville, PA.

About our church...

Who are we? We're a gathering of cradle Christians, working-on-it Christians, seeking but not quite yet Christian. We're your neighbors, maybe even your co-workers or classmates.

We're young and not-so-young, here five generations and five minutes, building-nesters and empty-nesters.   We're part of the Lutheran branch of the Christian family tree.

'Churches are closed' has been splashed across our media. Buildings may be closed, but churches are still at work

We're a Christian faith community, deeply rooted in upper Bucks, committed to serving, growing and loving in Jesus' name.
